Let’s begin…

*All odds are subject to change

Leeds vs Arsenal: Player to score or assist – Gabriel Magalhaes @ 4.10

This really is another tricky examination of Arsenal’s title credentials. The 3-2 loss to Manchester United will still be fresh in the mind, though the Gunners were able to rest key players in the 3-2 Champions League win over Kairat Almaty on Wednesday. Gabriel enjoyed a night off, and his physical presence in both boxes is vital at a hostile Elland Road. Leeds are a force to be reckoned with on home soil, unbeaten in the last five in front of their fans. So Arsenal’s set-piece wizardry could be the key to victory, and Gabriel is the most formidable weapon in that regard. He has three goals and two assists from 17 top-flight appearances, and we believe his ability to cause mayhem from either a free-kick or corner will be on display once again.

Chelsea vs West Ham: Cole Palmer to have over 1.5 shots on target @ 2.00

Palmer changed the game for Chelsea in Naples on Wednesday, coming off the bench to provide the assist for Joao Pedro’s winner. The Englishman looked fit and strong, two characteristics which have been missing for much of the season due to unfortunate injury issues. That is not good news for West Ham, who have felt Palmer’s wrath before. Chelsea’s main man has scored or assisted in all three appearances against the Hammers since moving to London, so this selection really leaps off the page. Palmer registered two shots on target at Fulham, and scored from the penalty spot vs Brentford. And West Ham’s woeful defensive record (45 goals conceded, the worst in the division) only makes this bet look more appealing.

Liverpool to beat Newcastle and both teams to score @ 3.06

Newcastle have not won at Anfield in the Premier League since April 1994. Yes, you did read that correctly, and it is a record which almost beggars belief. Can we see that changing on Saturday? Probably not, but Liverpool’s injury issues at the back – right-back in particular – could swing the odds more in Newcastle’s favour, at least in terms of them getting on the scoresheet anyway. But the Magpies have won just two away matches all season, and are probably still feeling the effects of their draining 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday. Bruno Guimaraes’ likely return to the XI is a boost, although this is still Liverpool’s to lose. Three of the last four editions of this fixture at Anfield have seen the Reds win and both teams score, an outcome we are backing to be repeated here.

Manchester United vs Fulham: Anytime goalscorer – Bryan Mbeumo @ 2.24

Michael Carrick’s incredible start to life as Man Utd boss has been aided by Mbeumo’s brilliance. The Cameroonian’s deployment as the No9 has proved to be a masterstroke, evidenced by goals against both Man City and Arsenal. Mbeumo has netted eight times in Premier League action this season, and boasts a record of three goals in his last five appearances against Fulham. With the Cottagers failing to keep a clean sheet in each of the last six, and collecting just one top-flight win vs United in the previous 20 attempts, Mbeumo can continue his love affair with goals under Carrick’s rule.

Tottenham vs Manchester City: Both teams to score – No @ 2.20

Both teams scoring in a match between Spurs and City has been a rarity in recent times. In fact, it has only occurred twice in the last eight meetings across all competitions, with three of the last four contests at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium seeing only one side find the back of the net. August’s reverse fixture followed that trend as Spurs left the Etihad with a 2-0 victory, though Pep Guardiola’s side are the hot favourites here. But with title-chasing pressure on the shoulders of the visitors, Sunday’s headline act has the potential to be a cagey affair with few goals, as it was last season. City won 1-0 in North London thanks to a goal from – you guessed it – Erling Haaland.
