NFL Gameweek 12

We are edging ever closer to the end of the NFL regular season, with seven rounds of matches left to play.

Gameweek 12 features some typically fabulous fixtures, including a huge clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday evening.

We have picked out three more betting tips based on the upcoming games, one of them focused on the Chiefs vs Colts at Arrowhead Stadium.

And all the latest NFL odds are available on our website and app, with so many different markets to choose from for each game – including Bet Builder options!

Houston Texans vs Buffalo Bills: Anytime touchdown scorer – Josh Allen @ 1.90

Gameweek 12 begins with an intriguing contest between the Texans and the Bills. Of course, the Bills are well fancied before kick-off, with a great season record of 7-3-0 compared to the Texans at 5-5-0. The side from Buffalo have also won three of the last four, though did lose their previous away match vs the Miami Dolphins (30-13). With that in mind, we have opted against the Match Result market here, and are instead looking at a player-specific bet. And there is no better option than Allen after his stunning display in the 44-32 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. Allen scored three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns in that match, only the third time that has been achieved in the NFL. So you can see why we are backing the reigning MVP here, who is now tied with Cam Newton for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL history with 75.

Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings: Points Handicap | Packers -3.5 @ 1.56

This weekend, we will be treated to one of the great NFL rivalries. There are always fireworks when these two teams clash, although the Packers boast a far better record this season (6-3-1) compared to the Vikings (4-6-0). So that is part of the reason why we are opting for a Packers win, although we expect it to be a very close contest indeed, which fuelled our move to pick such a low handicap market. The Vikings won both clashes vs the Packers last season (each of them by a two-point margin), and suffered a narrow 17-19 defeat to the Chicago Bears last time out. But the Packers have won four of the last six in the NFL, all of them by at least a four-point advantage.

Indianapolis Colts to beat Kansas City Chiefs @ 2.40

Last week, we tipped the Denver Broncos to beat the Chiefs at odds of 2.59, and the bet came in. So we are boldly tipping somethimg similar this week! The Chiefs have now gone 5-5-0 this season, and lest we forget, Patrick Mahomes and his team-mates also lost 28-21 away to the Bills at the start of the month. With that in mind, we just cannot work out why the Colts are the underdogs here, even though the match is in Kansas City, where the Chiefs have gone 4-1-0. The side from Indianapolis are one the NFL’s best-performing teams this season with an 8-2-0 record overall, and they have won five of the last six. Yes, the sole defeat did come on their travels vs the Pittsburgh Steelers (27-20), but taking a slight risk with this selection really could pay dividends – especially in a combo bet!
